We use our understanding of sell-side technology and workflow coupled with curated emerging technologies to help sell-side firms optimize and/or upgrade their technology stack and in the process reduce total cost of ownership.

Credentials +

  • OPCO was tasked with helping sponsoring banks to conceive and fund a consortium in the credit space and subsequently operationalize the business.  This business was launched in July 2022, with OPCO playing an advisory role until early 2023.
  • OPCO served as project manager, prior to the CEO's arrival, to help stand-up a consortium in the credit processing space.  Our team worked closely with the CEO to functionalize the business, recruit key members, assist in the development of operating plans as well as assist in the technology vendor evaluation process.
  • OPCO advised a bank on building a consortium around an internally incubated initiative, identifying strategic investor prospects, and assisted in term sheet design, negotiations and the operating model.
  • OPCO advised a broker/dealer with a partial spin-off of a trading business by leading the outreach process with strategic partners and assisting in term sheet design, negotiation and transition management process.
  • OPCO was hired by a bank to transform its services business into a software/solutions business. OPCO developed a strategy for launching a new set of software solutions to drive revenue growth, including evaluating both organic and inorganic opportunities.
